Most people type 40 words a minute. I’ve been doing 127. That’s not a flex. That’s just what happens when you stop typing and start talking.
Wispr Flow is a voice dictation tool. You press a hotkey, speak naturally, and it drops clean, formatted text into whatever app you’re in. No filler words, no “um”s, no going back to fix punctuation. It just works.
I build most of my projects using Claude Code. Long prompts, detailed context, a lot of back and forth. For months I was typing all of it. Then I started talking instead.
54,587 words dictated. 1,603 AI prompts. 4,808 auto-corrections handled in the background without me noticing.
What surprised me wasn’t the speed. It was that speaking a problem out loud made me think through it better before it even hit the screen.
I used it while building Renewd.work, a subscription tracker I shipped in a few days. I used it for the WhatsApp bots I’ve been working on. I use it for emails, messages, notes, everything now.
The keyboard isn’t going anywhere. But it’s no longer the only way in. Try it free for a month. Link below. https://lnkd.in/gmDc5TSF
